Mob Race

Pupils’ shine in annual event

The first house event of the academic year took place this week with over 210 Year 7 pupils taking part. The annual mob race, involves boys and girls in Year 7 competing against each other over a one mile cross country course.

At the half way point, all places were still up for grabs with a highly competitive race unfolding. Alex Garcia pulled ahead of Robin Kettle in the final stages to win the boys’ race with Toby Sawtell finishing third. Despite a great sprint finish from Elena Davies (second place), Ela Norton held on to first place, with Abbie Wheeler finishing third.
