Year 10 pupils’ Harriet Newman, Emily Lush and Ezme Gladwell, in addition to Year 9 pupil Ela Norton, followed on from their success at the ESSA East Regional Championships by competing at the 60th ESSA Secondary Schools’ Team Championship Final.

The team of four, travelled to the London Aquatics Centre to compete against the top thirty schools in the country in two relay events. The standard of competition was exceptionally high with sensational team performances on display.

In the 4 x 50m freestyle relay, the team finished in 18th place in a time of 1:58.36 minutes; in addition to finishing in 22nd place in the 4 x 50m medley relay in a time of 2:14.11 minutes.

Congratulations to Harriet, Emily, Ezme and Ela for their fantastic performances and outstanding achievement. Special thanks to the parents for their unwavering support and for taking the team to the competition.
