YEAR 9 GEOGRAPHY TRIP TO SWAFFHAM

Two groups of Year 9 Geography students visit the 'Green Britain Centre' in Swaffham

Two groups of Year 9 Geography students visted the 'Green Britain Centre' in Swaffham on the 10th and 12th November 2014.  They climbed all 305 steps to reach the top of the only wind turbine in the world open to the public.

Later in the day, they conducted primary data collection through fieldwork questionnaires to find out local opinion on the wind turbine.  They used the data and environmental surveys to formulate their own views on the advantages and disadvantages of wind power.

Ms Ingham (Head of Geography) said the trip was "an exhilarating experience for everybody."
