The Careers Department at The Broxbourne School provides careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) to students at all stages of their school career. We firmly believe that it is our role to prepare students for the working world thus ensuring they have the necessary skills to make informed choices about each step of their career.
Pupils have careers and work related learning sessions as part of PSHE days, they have careers and options guidance through form activities and sessions. Work experience is offered to students in Year 10 and Year 12. Students also have access to a variety of careers based websites.
Jo Scurlock is our Careers Advisor. She is in school every week to run careers sessions as well as offering all pupils one-on-one careers interviews. If you would like to request a careers interview please see Mr Sheppard in the Lower School Assistant Head’s Office.
