Holocaust Conference
In the middle of November a number of sixth form students were involved in a Holocaust conference held at Watford Grammar School for Girls.
The day involved pupils participating in a variety of engaging activities that proved to be both thought provoking and moving. The pupils met and listened to stories narrated by a Holocaust Survivor; a fantastic opportunity presuming that we will be the last generation to have this opportunity. The morning involved pupils attending a workshop that examined the reasons that motivated the perpetrators during the Holocaust following by an afternoon of lectures, meeting the author and journalist Thomas Harding who wrote 'Hanns and Rudolf' a story of a German Jew who tracked down the Kommandant of Auschwitz.
