Students impress visitors with inspirational works of art
The annual Art Exhibition proved an enormous success with some outstanding work on display. Ms Sagar (Head of Art) commented, “Once again the Art students at The Broxbourne School have outdone themselves! After a busy end to the year, the quality of final outcomes and detailed preparatory work on show displayed students’ impressive skills and inventive ideas.”
Visitors to the exhibition were impressed with the diverse range of media and the professional execution, with some people enquiring whether the work was for sale.
Staff and students worked together over two days to create an exciting maze of creativity, featuring GCSE and A-Level Fine Art, Graphic Communication and Photography. Visitors to the exhibition included parents, staff, governors and younger pupils, who were lucky enough to tour the exhibit during lessons.
Ms Sagar added that it was wonderful to hear the positive discussions and comments as people viewed the artwork, and “We would like to congratulate all pupils for their hard work and determination till the very end. They were inspirational!”
