GCSE Results 2015

Broxbourne School is celebrating its highest ever GCSE examination results.

  • 78% of all pupils, achieved five or more of the coveted A* to C higher grades including English and Maths.83% of all pupils achieved five A*-C grades

  • 40 pupils achieving 8+ A*/A grades

  • A third of all grades were A*/A

  • Over 60% of all examinations taken were graded at A* to B

  • Over half of all pupils achieved the EBACC

Amongst many outstanding performances were Ellis Chivers, Canan Djouma, Katie Grieve, Dilara Kara, Charlotte Quant, Rebecca Stoklund-Lee, Julia Tattersall and  Ben Weald who achieved 12 A/A* grades; Sophia Bonifacio, Hannah Booth, Soha Khan, Stephanie Kushanu, Oliver Perry, Marissa Petrou, Nicholas Root, Jessica Tam and Canan Metin who achieved 11 A/A* grades; Jamie Atkinson, Abby Bennett, Mehmet Hazirci, Ruby Nicholson, Sam Sheridan, Nicholas Trew, Holly Walker and  Jessica Williams who achieved 10 A/A* grades; and Isabella Davies, Ugonna Ihearahu, Chrys Ioannou, Charly Lane, Callum Lloyd, Emily Millward, Victoria Saggese and Faye Shrosbery who scored nine A/A*

One pupil, worthy of particular note, is Charlotte Quant who has been recognised by the examination board as achieving one of the highest scores in the country for her GCSE Mathematics
