Visiting speakers and specialist agencies

Pupils from The Broxbourne School participated in the first of four collapsed timetable days of PSHE activities. A programme of visiting speakers and specialist agencies deliver sessions on a variety of topics, in addition to pupils visiting places of interest outside of the school environment.

Personal, social, health and economic education (PSHE) is a planned programme of learning through which children and young people acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives, now and in the future.

Sessions included crime punishment and weapon prevention; fire safety; developing a growth mind-set; bullying prevention; a technology challenge; learning skills and a trip to the National History Museum.
