Sixth Formers visit the Houses of Parliament

The Broxbourne School enjoyed a collapsed timetable day this week to participate in a variety of PSHE activities. This was the second of four PSHE days, which aims to promote pupils' personal, social and emotional development, as well as their health and wellbeing. Various sessions provided the knowledge, skills and attributes pupils need to lead healthy, safe, responsible and fulfilled lives now and in the future.

Throughout the day, pupils in different year groups participated in sessions that focused on the realization of drug and alcohol abuse; sampled the extensive languages available across the world; discussed the consequences of bullying; improved their knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding mental health and cancer awareness; and investigated the role of appropriate food and fitness.
