Pupils’ in Year 9 enjoyed an end of KS3 celebration at The Spotlight. All pupils received a certificate to congratulate them on all they have achieved throughout KS3 including the subjects they have studied, roles and responsibility they have adopted, extra-curricular activities and enrichment activities they have participated in. Over one-hundred and sixty parents were able to join us to celebrate the various achievements throughout the afternoon.
Additional awards were celebrated throughout the afternoon, including two pupils for each subject recognised for their outstanding contribution to the department; pupils who achieved 100% attendance throughout Years 7, 8 and 9; pupils who have made outstanding progress in several subjects; and pupils who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in several subjects.
In addition to awards, a number of Year 9 pupils performed in dance, drama, literature and music. The KS3 celebration was a fitting reward before Year 9 pupils’ embark on their KS4 transition week. Year 9 will start their GCSE course after the half term break.
