Chef of the Year
The Food Department recently held the Broxbourne School Chef of the Year competition. Entrants had to plan a two course meal for four people within a £25 budget. The four finalists were chosen from twenty entries; Emre Hasekilerden, Daisy Johnson, Jennah Khan and Lucie Zijlstra. They spent the afternoon cooking and presenting their two course meal, and we had the tough job of tasting and choosing the winner.
Congratulations to Jennah Khan, who will now represent the school at the regional Young Chef of the Year competition in March.
