Presentation and Prize Giving Ceremony

The Broxbourne School held its annual Presentation and Prize Giving Ceremony at Broxbourne Civic Hall on the afternoon of Thursday 11th September. 

Mr Andrew Clark, District School Effectiveness Adviser, Hertfordshire County Council presented certificates and prizes.

In her address, Paula Humphreys, Headteacher complimented students on their high academic standards.  In 2014, 74% of pupils achieved 5+ A*-C (including English and Maths).  81% of all pupils achieved A*-C in English and 79% achieved A*-C in maths.  Significant progress is made by pupils.  Sixth form students achieve extremely well and in 2014 the average points per subject entry was 222 and the average points score per student was 812.
