How do you make an accidental damage or warranty claim?
Your device will be covered with 3 years of accidental damage insurance and come with a 3 year warranty. You can only claim up to the value of the device per academic year.
To make a claim, visit https://edutech.zone/parent_enquiries/ or email support@edutech.zone. Complete the enquiry form, then a member of their team will contact you. The device then needs to be dropped off with the Network Team the next day in school who will prepare the device for collection. Claims made during the school holidays can be picked up and dropped off from your home.

Years 10 and 11 - Chromebook out of Warranty/Insurance or owned privately
If your Chromebook is privately purchased or out of insurance - you would need to get the device repaired privately, or seek a replacement if your current device is uneconomical to repair.
The school has previously used HAAC LTD for private repairs. https://www.haacltd.co.uk/. The cost for a replacement Chromebook screen is approximately £150. Other high street local Computer repair shops are also a good alternative.
If you would like to enquire about purchasing a second hand device, please contact admin@broxbourne.herts.sch.uk and the Network Team can see what we have in stock.
