We are proud of our school uniform, which is worn by all students in Years 7 to 11.  Parents will understand that by accepting a place at The Broxbourne School, they have undertaken to ensure that their son or daughter attends in the correct uniform every day.

Outdoor clothing should be plain and appropriate.  Denim and leather coats are not acceptable, nor are coats with logos. Inappropriate and extreme hairstyles (length, steps, colour etc.) are not acceptable at school.  Boys must not have hair shorter than a number three cut and if longer on top, blended to avoid extreme contrasting lengths.  Children will be removed from lessons if they ignore this rule.

Girls are not allowed to wear make-up at school. This includes coloured nail polish or false nails. No jewellery may be worn except a small cross or religious medallion.  A small signet ring is permissible.  Girls who have pierced ears may wear one pair of plain studs in the earlobe only.  Boys are not allowed to wear earrings at school.  No other piercing is allowed.

From September 2021 the school will be introducing a new and improved PE kit. Outdoor sporting facilities in the new school include an all-weather Multi Use Games Area and a 3G Astro Turf Pitch. This will allow us to offer pupils a comprehensive outdoor curriculum and extra-curricular programme. The new PE kit will be supplied through Pro Sports Kit UK Ltd via an online shop.
