Virtual Open Evening

Welcome to The Broxbourne School Virtual Opening Evening 2021.

I am very sorry that we have not been able to go ahead with a “live open evening “due to the expected numbers of visitors and the continued uncertainty around the Covid pandemic.

By clicking on the links below, you will be able to hear an introduction to our virtual evening, listen to my Headteacher’s talk and also to short presentations by heads of the different subject areas of the school. Additionally, you can watch a “virtual” tour of some important areas in our new school buildings.

The link to the admissions area of the school website will take you to the documentation you will need to complete to apply to the school including our supplementary information form and an application form for the aptitude for languages test. Furthermore, there is a frequently asked questions summary which parents often find useful.

The aptitude for languages test will still take place on Saturday 25th September but with measures put in place to ensure that pupils, parents and staff are safe whilst on site. If you have any remaining questions regarding admissions after reading through the information provided on the school’s website, please do not hesitate to contact us via admin@broxbourne.herts.sch.uk.

As you will be aware, the school moved earlier this year into brand new premises. Despite not being able to offer the full open evening experience, we have set up tours of the outstanding learning facilities for parents and pupils.  These tours were by appointment only and we expect to set up additional tours later in the year when Year 5 pupils can visit the school.

I hope that you find the open evening materials inspiring. We are very proud of the education we offer at The Broxbourne School.

With very best wishes
