THE BROXBOURNE SCHOOL A LEVEL RESULTS

A level 2022

Paula Humphreys, Headteacher said, “I would like to congratulate all our students. After three years of disruption due to Covid, we are delighted with the excellent results our students have achieved which will enable many of our students to embark on competitive courses at top universities and prestigious high level apprenticeships. These results reflect their hard work, achieved with great support from parents and outstanding teaching.”

Eray Baykal

Eray received grades of A* in each of Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Eray is now going to study Dentistry at Manchester. Eray said, “I am happy with my results, they are even better than I anticipated. I would like to thank my parents who have always supported. I’ll be going out tonight with my friends.”

Alexander Garcia

Alex received grades of A* in each of Economics, History and Mathematics. Alex is now going on to study History and Economics at the University of Edinburgh. “I was nervous this morning so I am really relieved to get the grades I need. I would like to thank my Mum and Dad and the staff at Hoddesdon Library where I did a lot of my study. I am going to go out celebrate with my friends tonight.”

Preeya Harte

Preeya received four A* grades in German, Mathematics, Music and Religious Studies. Preeya is now going on to study Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Durham. Preeya said, “I am overjoyed with my results. After the couple of years we have had I am delighted we have all done so well. I am looking forward now to going off to university, I can’t wait”.

Molly Hindley

Molly received A* grades in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I am now going to study Medicine at Queens University in Belfast. “I feel relieved, I would like to thank everyone who has supported me.”

Emily Norman

Emily received three A * grades in Drama, History and Italian. Emily is now going on to study History at Southampton. Emily said, “I am really happy and these results are even better than I expected. I would like to thank my parents and all my teachers for supporting me. I will definitely be celebrating with my friends now.”

Ethan Hammond

Ethan received grades A* grades in each of Chemistry, History and Mathematics. Ethan is now going on to read Chemistry at York. Ethan “I feel good now, I want to thank my Chemistry teachers in particular, Miss Jones and Mrs Watson.”

Betty Landowski-Spray

Betty received A* grades in both French and Religious Studies and an A grade in History. Betty will now go on to read Philosophy and French at Exeter College, Oxford. Betty was very relieved to get the grades necessary to take up her place.

Abby Stevens

Abby received A* grades in both Biology and Chemistry and an A grade in French. Abby is now going on to study Zoology at the University of Southampton. “I would like to thank my French teacher Miss Duddridge and my parents of course. I will be out celebrating tonight.”

Ellie Downes

Ellie received an A* grade in Italian and A grades in both Chemistry and Religious Studies. I am now going to the University of York to study Law. Ellie said, “I am really happy and relieved to get my results. I would like to thank my parents and the staff at Broxbourne for supporting me. I am going out with friends tonight though we didn’t plan anything as we didn’t know how we’d get on.”

Kayleigh Kavanagh

Kayleigh received an A* grade in Economics and A grades in both Religious Studies and Business Studies. Kayleigh is now going on to study Law with Business at Exeter University. Kayleigh said, “I am really relieved, I was quite nervous yesterday and these results are better than I thought they would be. I would like to thank my teachers and my family who have supported me over the last couple of years. I am really looking forward to going on to university and I will be out celebrating tonight, definitely.”

Neve Salter

Neve received an A* grade in English Literature, an A grade in Psychology and a B grade in History. Neve is going to study Forensic Psychology at Portsmouth. Neve said, “I am really happy with my results and I can now look forward to university. I would like to thank all my family and my teachers who have supported me throughout the last couple of years.”

Giuliana Saudella

Giuliana received an A* grade in Italian, an A grade in Chemistry and a B grade in Biology. Giuliana is now going on to study Child Nursing at the University of York. Giuliana said “I am happy but also a little shocked. I would like to thank my family and friends and my parents who have all supported me over the last couple of years.”

Jack Smith

Jack received grades of A* in Mathematics, an A grade in History and a B grade in Physics. Jack is now going to the University of Southampton to study Economics. Jack said, “I feel very good now, I was quite nervous! I would like to thank my teachers it has been hard supporting us through the last couple of years. We’ll be celebrating tonight.”
